A late season break in Mykonos is always a good idea!

We have just returned from a wonderful 3-night stay at the gorgeous 5* Kouros Hotel & Suites in Mykonos and we could not have had a better time!

September is an ideal time to visit this iconic Greek island, we were lucky to be treated to average temperatures of 25-27 degrees across our stay, allowing us to fully immerse in the laid back Myconian vibes.

We stayed in one of the luxurious Superior Suites Sea View at Kouros Hotel & Suites which are perfectly sized for 2 adults, averaging 40 sqm. All 50 rooms of the hotel benefit from full sea and sunset views regardless of the room type. Opt for a Deluxe Hotel Suite Sea View with Outdoor Jacuzzi if you want your own private Jacuzzi or for the Signature Sea View Sea View Suite with Private Pool which comes with a gorgeous living room and an impressive outdoor terrace with a private pool, offering maximum privacy and fantastic views of the open sea in front of the property.

The Sanctuary Suites & Villas are the newest addition at the hotel; these 15 new accommodation options were added in 2022 and 2023 and look incredible. Guests staying in these suites and villas are treated to ultra-modern and luxurious features such as marble bathrooms with oversized showers, modern furnishings exclusively designed for the hotel as well exclusive benefits such as complimentary breakfast in bed.

Food certainly stands out at the hotel. From the sweet and savoury delicacies for breakfast, including a la carte options, to the gorgeous light salads for lunch and the premium quality meats at dinner, dining at Kouros does not disappoint. We were particularly impressed with the signature ‘’tsoureki’’ French toast with raspberries and fresh cream custard, the delicious Mediterranean watermelon and feta cheese salad and the lobster pasta which was just incredible.

During our stay we paid a visit to Mykonos Town which is just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The town was busy, full of travellers that wanted to experience Mykonos outside peak season. Walking on all those beautiful white stone alleys with souvenir shops, beautiful restaurants, bars and shops is a treat on its own. Make sure to visit the beautiful Myconian windmills or enjoy a drink at the Little Venice waterfront area.
